The LFV Parents' Association (APE) is an association for ALL parents at the LFV. We are an active and dedicated partner working closely with both the school and its Management.
The APE is a team of dynamic, multicultural parent volunteers, present from Kindergarten (Maternelle) to Year 13 (Terminale).
Beyond our official role, the APE forms a genuine mutual aid network to support all families and foster a vibrant school community.
A dynamic team actively involved on a daily basis, according to each person's availability.
A strong majority representation to voice your opinions and defend your interests during LFV councils and official committees
A united, engaged, and constantly growing community supporting school life.
Diverse and cosmopolitan backgrounds, reflecting the rich diversity of our school's families
Member of the Federation of Parents' Associations in French Schools Abroad (FAPEE)
Holding a majority in the LFV councils, the APE acts as your official and anonymous spokesperson to the Management. We ensure clear and continuous information through newsletters, meeting minutes, conferences, and surveys.
From kindergarten to post-baccalaureate, the APE offers a unique support network for families. We connect our community through mutual aid groups (WhatsApp, professional network), family or parent gatherings, and conferences. We also support school inclusion with a dedicated team for families of students with special educational needs (EBEP*), and we prepare our youth for the future through the Careers Forum and by tracking the academic paths of alumni.
Throughout the year, we manage 10 extracurricular workshops (from MS to 3e) and run cake sales at the "Guinguette Solidaire" on the Liechtenstein site. We bring traditional celebrations to life for the youngest (Lantern Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, International Children's Rights Day initiatives) and organize guidance events for older students (Careers Forum, exploring new professions through VR, etc.), while strictly monitoring safety, hygiene, and anti-bullying measures for all students.
The APE is tangibly committed to contributing financially to the Solidarity Fund through the proceeds of the "Guinguette Solidaire" to support families in need. We also provide human and financial backing for various LFV projects (LFV Ball, cross-country run, student shows, equipment donations, etc.)
Joining the APE is, first and foremost, an invaluable way to support our school. It is also an opportunity to benefit from specific offers and gain privileged access to unique resources that enrich your child’s school experience. Your membership enables us to effectively represent the collective interests of all parents to the school’s management and official institutions, ensuring that our families' voices are fully heard.
